FINALLY got my new schedule for this semester this morning - only took 'em 2 weeks to get all this shit sorted out!

Good news is - no class today, so I'm not missing anything - bad news is I have nothing to do! Someone should help me kill time...

So, I'm back in California finally!  I have limited access to the intarwebs, so updates will not be often, but I still have my phone number.  If anyone wants to hang out, give me a call!!  More updates when I get 'em.

Furthermore - haha, made you look! No real update yet, but I haven't forgotten that I promised pictures of my 'announcement' - I just like baiting you along!

Oh my god. I'm SO stressed right now with the move. I feel like I'm thinking "It's cool, I don't have much to do before I leave" which is absolutely incorrect. Checklist:

Buy train tickets
Buy laptop
Buy steamer trunk
Buy duffel bags
Buy extra toiletries/assorted et cetera of life
Sort through (mostly books) everything to decide what I DON'T want to take
PACK what I DO want to take
Contact DeVry Fremont (ASAP) and talk with them about classes and residence

There's probably a lot more (not that that isn't plenty) but it reminded me of something I wanted to mention...

I got invited to join Gamma Beta Phi! I'm unreasonably excited about this - even though it's a stress load. Why a stress load? I now have to maintain a 3.0 GPA or I get kicked out. It hasn't been difficult for me to keep up a 3.0, so one would think that wouldn't be stressful...but now when I'm eligible for academic honors because of my efforts, it's a weight on my shoulders to keep it up.

SPEAKING of which...much as I hate to admit it, I've pretty much accepted the fact that I'm going to fucking fail my computer applications for business class. Excel was cake - I already knew everything in that unit, but Access is currently baffling me. I already know that I'll have to take it over again, but (even though it's at assy 9am) I plan to continue trying if for no other reason than to get more familiar with it, to make the retake easier.

While we're on the topic of adding stress to my life...I think I've decided to double major in CET. Because A.I. programming and other assorted GSP classes just aren't hard enough for me, I want to learn how to build robots and shit too. Ok, that's giving me a little too much credit (perhaps?) in both major fields, but still.

What does this mean for you, the citizen? Nothing really, except that I'll likely be in school out in California for about 2 years instead of 1 now. Or maybe I'll just switch to accelerated courses(ugh).

WOW, long post...I guess that's what happens when I fail to post any sort of real content in my updates for weeks...even still, I have a teeny tiny little announcement to make!

I tried to get a good mix some really tough ones, and some really easy ones. Realistically though, they're probably all pretty tough unless you know exactly what kind of movies I tend to watch, and have seen them already.

Say what you will about the viral marketing campaign they waged for the album.

Some understandably complain that they're just giving in to pop trends in advertising. Trent claims that this is part of the art he's weaving for this and the upcoming album. I say they're both right. This is a bit beyond mere marketing, but that doesn't invalidate it's use as such.

Regardless, this is a fantastic album. Less "With Teeth" and more "Pretty Hate Machine". I highly recommend everyone at least give it a listen. I, at least, am loving it.
